My First Trip to LA

It’s been a while since I’ve made a blog post, but I felt there is a lot I want to say and a Facebook post is too small to do so.  I attended Anime Expo this year and while I’ll get to the actual expo I’d like to share the entire experience from planning to coming home. It might be long and maybe uninteresting, but it was important for me.I won’t put the names of the people, but they know who they are and how this all happened.  I may get a little emotional, but I will start it off after the jump.

Robotized!

Hello everyone!

It’s great to be back! err… well I promise I’ll start adding pictures to these posts again soon.

Let me tell you! that everyone sounds like robots fufufufu!  I know you’re wondering what I’m going on about, but I mentioned I had surgery in January right? Well I spent all of February healing from the surgery and now I have my external device for the cochlear implant and everything sounds like robots and machinery.

So with that I’m now in Week 2 and testing some new adjustments on my sound processor it kinda gives me a headache trying to understand so many sounds, but I’ll get used to it in time i guess… I promise i’ll scan in my xrays and have some photos sometime soon.

Now I’ve also labeled this as a Convention post meaning I will be attending MTAC again this year and I hope that I can meet up with some of my wonderful friends that have been supporting me through everything. Really thanks so much guys !  OH! and Delon >.> we really need to meet up more than once a year LOL

Alright that does it for my update for now I will try to get back into the swing of things soon.

Con Report: MTAC

Hello Friends!

I went to MTAC  yesterday!  I didn’t think  I would attend since I hadn’t been feeling well ^^;  I mustered up enough energy to bring myself out to enjoy a con and break a very long and drawn out absence from events due to circumstances. Again all of this is due to the support from all of you during my hiatus… well anyhow I have to apologize this time, because I have no photos T_T my camera has finally kicked the bucket and it’s time for a new one.

MTAC and the PS3

Hello everybody!

I got a ps3 about a day or so ago and I’m enjoying it  I suppose lol with only ratchet and clank, MGS4, and inFamous to play on it.  Well thats all I can say really LOL

Now for MTAC this weekend in Downtown Torono, I’m not sure if I’ll truly be there yet as I’m not feeling very well, but I ‘ll  try to make it out there  for anyone that is going! hold a sign up for panda so i know how to find you or … i’ll just hold up that clip board from AN last year lol it’s still got that dannychoo.com thing on it.

I am home from Anime North 2009… I had a lot of fun, but had very hard times with not being able to hear ^^;  there will be a proper update sometime later in the week.

Thanks to the Dannychoo.com members who caught up with me at the con and also apologize to those who could not find us ^^; I am hoping to plan an event sometime this summer so keep a look out for that!

And time winds down to the convention! It’s now Victoria Day Monday here in Toronto and that means that Anime North is only 4 days away. This will be my last blog update until the convention as I’ll be spending the last few days packing and getting ready to go. Hope to see you there!
